Tournament Rules

Please review the rules, scoring format, quota system, and payout details before the tournament begins.

Play Rules

Winter rules, point values, tees, and basic tournament play standards.

1

Winter Rules Are in Effect

  • Ball may be moved one club length in the fairway only, and only on your own fairway. The ball must be played down in rough and all hazards. Roots and rocks are not cause for free drop.
  • There are no gimmies. Putt everything out. No exceptions.
  • Any ball hit out of bounds (white stakes) may be played as a lateral hazard. There is no distance penalty. This helps speed up play and avoids returning to the previous spot.
  • A lost ball does not need to be played from the previous spot. Drop a ball at the last known spot and play from there with a one-stroke penalty.

6

Scoring

  • Each player is responsible for his own score.

  • If you run into any difficulty, please take a picture of the actual scorecard and send it to 615-604-4905.

Prizes, Skins & Special Rules

Round prizes, overall tournament payout rules, skins game, and hole-in-one rule.

7

Prizes

  • Prize money will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers each round, and possibly 3rd place depending on the field and payouts.
  • Prize money will also be awarded for overall tournament individual finishes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with possible additional places depending on payouts.
  • Overall tournament winners are the golfers who score the highest above their quota across all three rounds. The +4 / -4 tournament cap rule is in effect.
  • If there is a tie for overall winner, the tie goes to the player who finished highest above quota without applying the +4 / -4 cap. If still tied, there will be co-champions.
8

Skins Game

  • There will also be a skins game.
  • An allotted amount will be applied for each player, each round, and the total money will be split evenly between the skins winners each round.
9

Hole in One

  • If anyone makes a hole-in-one, everyone will pay him $10. This helps cover the expenses of all our drinks.
